There are many ways to play for free. If you have played a MUD before, point a desktop client like MUSHClient or Mudlet at bedlam.gotdns.com:9000. If you're new to MUDs and you're at your desktop computer, the place to start is the web app (Flash required, Firefox recommended).
If you own an iPhone / iPod / iPad, you simply must experience the game using the free version of the incredible GUI app shown below.
